Mobile companies around the world are introducing one or another model on a daily basis. But in the face of such fierce competition, it is certainly a big deal for a single phone to top the list of best-selling phones of the year.
Apart from Apple, South Korean company Samsung and China’s Xiaomi are among the Android makers. The number of mobile phones marketed by them is also higher than other companies. But do you know which is the best selling mobile phone offered by these two companies last year?
Interestingly, the best-selling smartphone in the year 2021 does not belong to these two companies. A recent report by Counterpoint, a company that monitors the smartphone industry, lists the top ten best-selling phones.
The smartphone, which is included in this list, has a sales rate of 19% of the phones sold worldwide. According to Counterpoint, the best-selling phone last year was the iPhone 12. The iPhone 12 Pro Max came second, the iPhone 13 came third, the iPhone 12 Pro came fourth and Apple’s iPhone 11 came fifth.
According to the report, the main reason for the record increase in Apple’s sales last year was due to the important updates it has introduced for Fioji technology and iOS.
At number six on the list was the South Korean company Samsung’s Galaxy A1 2, at number seven was the Xiaomi Mi’s Red Mi 9A. At number eight on the list was the iPhone, and here is Apple’s iPhone SE, introduced in 2020. At number nine was the iPhone 13 Pro and at number ten was Xiaomi’s flagship model, the Red Me 9.
